Anchor Club Ministry
Every month the senior saints get together for fellowship and special activities.
Bus Ministry
By calling the church at 413-532-0381, anyone can request a ride to church. Our bus transportation will pick up the children, teenagers, or adults from the door and bring them back once the services are completed. We have two bus routes reaching the greater Holyoke area.
Children's Ministry
There are many great things your child can be a part of at Mountain View Baptist Church. From Sunday School and Junior church to the Bible Builders Club, Winter Carnival and Summer VBS - children are a strong focus of our ministry.
Church Choir
Our church choir sings powerful psalms, hymns and spiritual songs during our Sunday morning and evening services.
Nursery Ministry
We provide warm, nurturing and well-supervised childcare for infants and toddlers up to the age of three during all of our services. In the event your child needs you during the service, a nursery worker will notify you.
Soul Winning & Visitation
Our church has many organized times of soul winning and visitation. Groups meet throughout the week to take God's saving message to our Holyoke and the surrounding communities.
Music
We unapologetically use the traditional hymns that have depth, Scripture, and meaning. We will not use the new empty meaningless music that is becoming more and more popular in churches. We are blessed to have many soloists, duets, trios, quartets, ensembles, and instrumental specials in our services.
Sunday School
We have Sunday school classes beginning with Pre-K for every age group. Sunday School begins at 10am.
Young Adult Class
Our Young Adult Class is especially designed for young adults from 18-30 during the 10:00 Sunday School hour.
Youth Ministry
Teenagers are a very important part of the ministry at Mountain View. We believe in training and equipping the next generation while providing them with a fun and exciting atmosphere. The youth group meets every Sunday morning for Sunday School at 10:00, Wednesday nights at 7:00, and Saturday soul winning and bus visitation at 10:00am. The teens have a special activity every month highlighted by camp in July and a formal banquet every Christmas.
